Carbon steel blade needs to be taken care of. Keep the blade dry and oiled to prevent it from rusting. To clean, wipe it with a damp cloth and dry the blade right away.
– Never place in the dishwasher.
– If rust starts forming, use an acid like vinegar and gently rub it on the affected area.
– When the rust is removed, dry the blade, re-sharpen and oil to prevent future rusting.
