This stool is handmade in Java, Indonesia. When selecting local producers, Soeji values fair pay and good working conditions. In the factories from which they purchase the goods, only work experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Since all work steps are done by hand, the production process hardly generates any greenhouse gas emissions. They ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
