Cleaning

Wipe light dirt with a damp cloth. For more intensive cleaning, use warm water and detergent by hand or put them in the dishwasher. Then let it dry completely.

Care

Visible cut marks can be visually mitigated by oiling. If necessary – if the surface looks rough and dull – gently smooth it with fine-grained sandpaper. Then thoroughly remove the grinding residue. Then oil the clean and completely dry cutting board evenly (any oil suitable for wood works well). Let the cutting board dry overnight. Wipe any excess oil with a kitchen towel.
